Overcoming Leadership Vertigo to Promote a Positive Work Environment

Wed. September 19| 9:45 AM - 11:00 AM | 207 CD

After this session you’ll be able to:
  1. Describe how positivity is a lifestyle.
  2. Use powerful language to promote positivity personally and professionally.
  3. Facilitate the art of story-telling and tying stories to reward, and recognize the behaviors desired for a compassionate, connected work environment.

Why this is important:

We are always hearing how important it is to promote positivity in the workplace, along with the benefits it entails. However, we don’t always have the resources to make this vision a reality. Dempsey and Avigne lead this interactive session using the concepts of positivity and story-telling to reward and recognize behaviors that exemplify Compassionate Connected Care (CCC) in the perioperative setting. This session, designed to give you, the leader, the tools needed to facilitate a more positive work environment, will prepare you to lead a more positive, purpose-driven life and encourage the same in your team.
